Citrix Certified Instructor (CCI)
Certification Objective:
The Citrix Certified Instructors (CCI) program is for individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional knowledge of the Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite and underlying operating systems. CCIs teach Citrix Authorized Courses at Citrix Authorized Learning Centers (CALCs).
Certification Requirements:
Current Citrix Certified Instructors and future candidates are required to have a thorough knowledge of Citrix products, classroom delivery and management techniques, and a fundamental understanding of learning styles.
The following are the requirements for attaining the CCI certification:
1. Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of Citrix products and education curriculum by attaining the Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) certification.
** Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions require CCEA status before becoming a CCI. All other regions (North America, Latin America, Caribbean, and Pacific) require candidates to become CCEA certified within six months of attaining CCI status.
2. Demonstrate satisfactory completion of one of the following industry trainer certifications approved by Citrix Education:
- Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
- Certified Novell Instructor (CNI)
- CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer + (CTT+)
Alternately, you may also pass an instructional methods course based on International Board of Standards for Training, Performance and Instruction (IBSTPI) standards.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft operating systems by achieving and providing evidence of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) status for Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003.
4. Provide proof of satisfactory completion of a Citrix Train The Trainer course delivered by Citrix Systems, Inc.
5. Complete the CCI Application Form.
6. Provide a signed copy of the CCI Agreement.
