| Overview |
The
HP OpenCall Media Platform allows rapid development and delivery
of telephony services ranging from simply playing an audio prompt to
advanced services such as unified messaging and voice portals. Its
Software Development Kit (HP OCMP SDK) is a powerful development
tool for application developers who need to:
- test telecommunication services that require media and
call control functions without having to connect to a telecom
network
- port and deploy services onto the fully operational platform
- evaluate the HP OpenCall Media Platform.
This HP
OpenCall Media Platform SDK is the simulated environment of the
complete Media platform. It provides the following features:
- Simulated telephone for testing purposes
- Audio record and playback through the PCs microphone and speakers
- VoiceXML interface
- CCXML interface
- Call Out Manager for VoiceXML or CCXML
- Access to Call Data Records for VoiceXML and CCXML for an easier
debugging
- Java™ Call Control API (CCAPI) for media, call control and
conferencing services (called oclets)
- Ability to interact with Automatic Speech Recognition and Text To Speech
Synthesis engines (not included)
