Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to teach you how to solve the "Stop 0x000000D1 Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Equal" error message in windows server 2003.
Stop 0x000000D1 Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Equal:
Your Windows Server 2003-based computer may stop responding and you may receive a Stop error message. This problem may occur if all of the following conditions are true:
- Third-party enterprise storage management software is installed on the computer.
- You are using the Storport.sys storage driver.
- Windows Server 2003 incorrectly processes the Startlo routine in Storport.sys.
To solve this problem

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Windows Server 2003 service pack that contains this hotfix.
