Purpose
The purpose of this article is to teach you the process of deleting a linked server with Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
Deleting a Linked Server
Following steps describe you the process of deleting a linked server:
1. Click Start, go to Programs, then go to Microsoft SQL Server, and click Enterprise Manager.

2. Expand Security and click Linked Server.

3. Now right click the linked server in details pane i.e. PC100, and click Delete.

4. Click Yes, a message window will be prompted, click Yes again.
