Purpose
The purpose of this article is to teach you the process of starting the SQL Server Network Utility in Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
To Start the SQL Server Network Utility
The Server Network utility is used to manage the server Net-Libraries. This utility is used to specify the network protocol stacks on which an instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 listens for client requests, the sequence in which server Net-Libraries are considered when establishing connections from applications and new network addresses that an instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
Following steps describe you the step by step details of starting up SQL Server Network Utility:
1. Click Start, go to Programs, then go to Microsoft SQL Server, and click Server Network Utility.

2. Click Cancel to finish.
