Purpose
The purpose of this article is to teach you the process of setting up DB-Library conversion preferences in Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
To Set DB-Library Conversion Preferences
The SQL Server Client Network Utility includes file information on the DB-Library installed on your computer, and options for setting DB-Library preferences. DB-Library returns Microsoft SQL Server errors and messages to call-back functions written by the application programmer. This procedure applies to Microsoft Windows 32-bit operating system clients.
Following steps describe you the process of setting up the DB-Library conversion preferences:
1. Click Start, go to Programs, then go to Microsoft SQL Server, and click Client Network Utility, and Select DB-Library Options tab.

2. Now, select the Automatic ANSI to OEM conversion and Use international settings options.

3. Click Apply, and then click OK.
